Cats in Concert 3Cats in Concert runs through Sunday (Feb. 24) at the company’s venue, which is located at 1933 Elm Hill Pk.

Cats, a Best Musical Tony Award winner that ran 18 years on Broadway, tells the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life. STC’s production features all of the beloved songs including “Memory”, “Macavity”, and “The Rum Tum Tugger” in the “In Concert” performance style that has become an STC signature. The cast features such regional favorites as Nancy Allen (Grizabella), Michael Kitts (Rum Tum Tugger), Shawn Lewis (Old Deuteronomy) and STC newcomer Tyler Evick (Munkustrap) along with an ensemble of 30 singers.

At each performance Nashville Cat Rescue will have cats available for adoption on hand. Thanks to partnerships with the Nashville Humane Association and Pet Community Center, there will also be information on pet resources.

Tickets are $18 for adults and $16 for students and seniors. Click here to purchase tickets (performance dates and times are listed in the online box office when you click the “Buy Tickets” link next to the description of the Cats in Concert show).
