Schermerhorn Symphony Center announces two additions to its concert calendar. Singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile will be making an appearance with the Nashville Symphony on May 17, and jazz legends Bob James and David Sanborn will make a headline appearance together at the Schermerhorn on June 19. Acclaimed singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile will make a special one-night-only appearance with the Nashville Symphony. Working her way up from performing at Seattle’s Pikes Place Market to headlining at renowned venues such as Red Rocks and Wolf Trap, Carlile has earned her reputation as a fearless and consummate performer who is undoubtedly in a class of her own. She’ll perform songs from her latest release, Bear Creek, along with plenty of fan favorites.

An amazing night of jazz at the Schermerhorn! Pianist Bob James and saxophonist David Sanborn are two of the most influential figures in jazz, making history with their hit 1986 collaboration Double Vision. Joined by the legendary drummer Steve Gadd, they’ll play songs from their brand-new follow-up. This concert will be presented without the orchestra.
